Tracy Lea

In 45 years of practice, Tracy Lea has earned a national reputation as a realm of building performance, emerging technologies, environmental sustainability, and integrated design. Tracy combines design sensitivity with a passion for technology into a practical approach that has consistently delivered excellence in architecture and professional service. A graduate of Auburn University, he relocated to New Orleans following 15 years of practice in San Francisco and joined EskewDumezRipple in 1993. During his 30-year tenure with EDR, Tracy helped lead the firm’s evolution into a widely-acclaimed design practice, recognized with the AIA National Architecture Firm award in 2014. He has served on the AIA Contract Documents Committee since 2015 and was elevated to AIA Fellowship in 2019.
