Codes Workshop Baton Rouge - June 24, 2025

AIA Louisiana is proud to bring this series of codes related training to three areas in the state this summer! 

With three sessions in various areas of the state this summer there are multiple options and dates to choose from. All will qualify for 6 HSW and are from 9AM-4PM.

Robert (Bobby) Parks has over 35 years’ experience in Manufactured Housing, Modular Homes, Residential Site Built Homes and Light Commercial. Areas of practice include Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation (HVAC), Moisture/Condensation Control, Energy Auditing and Building Failure Analysis with thousands of buildings analyzed, in over 40 states in the USA. Bobby regularly develops and presents building science based CEU classes for numerous Universities and Professional organizations through the Department of Natural Resources and Department of Energy.

David Bonaventure is a Managing Principal at Salas O’Brien, overseeing nine offices and leading multidisciplinary teams across the Southeast. With over 25 years of experience in the built environment, he specializes in high-performance building design, energy modeling, and sustainable strategies that align with evolving energy codes. David brings a practical, client-first perspective to implementing the 2021 IECC, helping owners and design teams navigate its requirements while balancing constructability, budget, and long-term operational goals.
