The Role: Elevate Your Architectural Career As a Design Professional at DDA, you will play a central role in bringing complex visions to life. You won't be tucked away in a corner; you will be an active co-creator, strategic partner, and leader across the entire lifecycle of our projects.
Key Responsibilities: Innovative Design & Execution: Lead and assist in creating innovative, eco-conscious, and highly functional design solutions that push boundaries. Comprehensive Documentation: Produce detailed, precise, and coordinated construction documents that adhere strictly to local building codes, ADA, zoning, and regulatory standards. Cross-Discipline Leadership: Serve as a central point of contact, coordinating smoothly with clients, stakeholders, engineers, contractors, and municipal representatives. Construction Administration: Oversee the construction phase with extreme organization, conducting site visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring zero compromise on the final built vision. Strategic Client Alignment: Walk hand-in-step with our diverse clientele, ensuring project workflows remain transparent, predictable, on time, and within budget. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education & Experience: A professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) from an accredited program, paired with a proven track record in commercial architectural design.
Technical Mastery: Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, construction detailing, and structural integration. Software Proficiency: High proficiency in modern industry standard design and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), along with Adobe Creative Suite and general office applications. The DDA Mindset: An exceptional ability to balance technical precision with a visionary, sustainable design mindset. Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex architectural concepts for budget-conscious business owners or present rigorous technical data to public sector entities.
